Vilaseca receives the Seventh Cross-Duathlon

Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. On 12 February 2012 will be the seventh edition of the Cross-Duathlon at the Vilaseca Center Park in the Torre d´en Dolça.

This year it will be the seventh edition and has established itself as a sporting event that is ideal for athletes as a banda is a popular and ideal for beginners in this sport, but also has a competitive spirit and sports come to train and fight for victory.

In view of this development, since the organization created as a new route to improve mountain bike circuit, which will be more dynamic, visual and fun, people are often extended up to 250 timed runners and passed with an electronic chip. To encourage involvement team will also be a prize of a ham, to provide more computer components.

The race is notable for combining race walking and hiking, so first is 4 km race walk in a circuit where you have to do 2 laps, followed by 11km mountain bike industry (2 laps mountain bike circuit) and a last race of 2km walk. Between industry and industry participants through the pit area where they exchange sports equipment. A total of 17 km with a height of 70m and below where the runners will take between 40 and 80 minutes, which is a fast circuit. The main feature of the circuit is that the stadium is used for riding the runners go by foot to stretch. As every year, for all the athletes there will be a butifarrada end and draw a ham among all athletes.

Both the Sports Department and the Tourism Council of the Municipality of Vila-seca with various private contributors supported the race set to be about sports in the province of Tarragona, which organizes the Mountain Section of the Association Vilaseca and Cultural Events produces Naturetime.

Entries are open and can be done until February 10 or until sold out back. If there are places in the race day will also be entered in the same circuit but at a higher price.
