Christmas charity concert in Reus

Reus. Costa Dorada. Next Sunday, 18 December 2011, the Fortuny Theatre in Reus host the traditional Christmas concert of Tarragona offers mayors, presidents of county councils and other authorities of Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre. This year the concert will become an act of solidarity towards the neediest people of the territory, as the money collected will be given to Diocesan Caritas of Tarragona and Tortosa to the organization's intended for social purposes as deemed necessary and urgent.

Sponsored by the inter-institution, the Christmas concert will be given to the Orchestra Camera Musicae of Tarragona, accompanied by Enrique Martinez-Castignani italoespanyol baritone and soprano Marta Matheu Tarragona. Camera Musicae Orchestra has, in his training with the Professional Music Teachers of Tarragona, Reus, Tortosa and Vilaseca.

The President of the Council of Tarragona, Josep Poblet and other members of the corporation to attend the event as well as other authorities among which the presence of the rector of the URV, Xavier Grau, the Archbishop of Tarragona, Jaume Pujol, the government delegate in Tarragona, Quim Nin, the Mayor of Reus, Carles Pellicer, president of the Regional Council of Baix Camp, Joaquim Calatayud, president of the Diocesan Caritas in Tarragona, Francesc Roig and President of the Diocesan Caritas Terres de l'Ebre, Agusti Castells.
